Our Legacy

Glenn’s Restaurant is located on busy Highway #2, between Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, 3 kms south of Red Deer, on Leva Avenue in Red Deer County.

This fine establishment is owned and by Glenn and Jessie Simon, and they have been in business for the past for 31 years.

The restaurant seats 186 people, with both booths and tables available. You can enjoy breakfast all day or home style meals with a focus on healthy choices. Some food items include tea as an ingredient to enhance the flavour.

At Glenn’s Restaurant, you will also find a loose leaf tea display store, with over 190 different teas sold in bulk or served at the table. Tea is served at the table by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Tea accessories are also available and include Henley Tea Pot, tea balls, and trivets.

Matcha Tea orders can be received by fax or phone, and are sent the same day they are received.
All tea orders are sent by Canada Post. Alberta orders take 2-6 business days.


All orders are based on available supply. Large orders can be accepted and could take more time to process.

Tea Garden and Patio

The Décor is English Country. You will find a lovely tea garden and beautiful patio, which is open during the summer months. There is no better way to enjoy a wonderful summer meal in the midst of this magnificent patio, with all the aromatic smells of roses and other florals. The colorful arrangements of the many varieties of flowers and perennials are enjoyed by all who dine in this divine garden.

Glenn’s Boardroom (seats 18 people) and Glenn’s Sunroom (seats 30 people) are both available for a minimal fee.  Bookings are suggested in advance. Please see our Boardroom page for more information.

Cindy’s Gifts & Fashion Accessories Boutique

Located next door to the restaurant is Cindy’s Gifts & Fashion Accessories Boutique, operated by Glenn’s sister, Cindy Gauthier. She carries a large selection of giftware and teapots. NEW hot item to Cindy's is a complete line of lug® Travel Wear.

Just south of Glenn’s Restaurant is the Donut Mill, which is operated by Glenn’s son-in-law Parry Dyck, and daughter Michelle Dyck.

The Legacy and success of Glenn’s Family Restaurant’s can be attributed to his team of long-term employees who have served loyally, for as many as 27 years.
